For municipalities

Municipal Murals

We turn city walls, stations, water tanks and parks into public artworks that tell the city's story and carry a social message.

Public art that adds value to the city

A mural in a public space reaches thousands of people every day. It strengthens the city's identity, revives neglected areas and raises awareness of social issues.

For İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and Metro İzmir, we've completed projects at many scales, from water tank mascots to metro stations. The mural in the awareness space against violence toward women at Üçyol Metro Station is one of them.

What we create for municipalities

  • Metro and public transport areas

Murals that greet passengers at stations, stops and underpasses.

  • Water tank and mascot painting

Turning water tanks into city mascots and corporate identity.

  • Awareness spaces

Public works that carry a social message, created for specific days and weeks.

  • Parks, schools and transformer buildings

How We Work

  1. 01

    Project and requirements

Together we assess the site, the project's purpose and the institution's technical requirements.

  2. 02

    Design and presentation

We prepare sketches that fit the institution's identity and message and submit them to the relevant departments for approval.

  3. 03

    Safe execution

We separate the work area from pedestrian traffic and handle jobs that require scaffolding or cranes with our own team.

  4. 04

    Handover

We review the work with the institution's officials and hand it over complete.

Frequently Asked Questions

Serving clients worldwide

We take on projects all over the world. We make the first assessment remotely from the photos and measurements you send, and visit the site when needed.

Which institutions have you worked for?

For İzmir Metropolitan Municipality we painted the water tank mascots, and at Metro İzmir stations we created the murals at Fahrettin Altay and Üçyol. You can see photos of this work in our gallery.

Can you adapt an existing artwork or competition drawing to a wall?

Yes. We can design to the institution's message ourselves or, as in the Üçyol Metro project, adapt a selected drawing to the scale of the wall.

Do you paint water tanks?

Yes. We turn water tanks into corporate colors or city mascots; the globe mascots we completed for İzmir Metropolitan Municipality are examples.

How do you ensure safety when working in public spaces?

We separate the work area from pedestrian traffic and use scaffolding or a boom lift for work at height. We plan working hours together with the institution.

Do you work with municipalities in other countries?

Yes, we work worldwide. We make the first assessment remotely from photos and measurements and visit the site when needed.
